A monitoring meeting was held at the Department of Veterinary Medicine at Aksaray University Eskil Vocational School to oversee the updating process of the Bologna Course Information Packages in accordance with Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) criteria. The meeting, held on September 23, 2026, was chaired by Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erinç GÜMÜŞ with the participation of department faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adil AKSOY and Acting Department Head Lecturer Dr. Osman DAĞAR.
During the meeting, it was decided that course information packages should be written in academic and simple language, Sustainable Development Goals should be integrated into the forms, and English translations of Turkish content should be uploaded to the system. As part of the curriculum arrangements, it was agreed to employ active teaching techniques in classes, such as lectures, question-and-answer sessions, discussions, case studies, brainstorming, concept mapping, and presentations. Furthermore, it was decided to plan 16-week course flows, including midterm and final exam weeks, and to define 7 learning outcomes per course mapped to program outcomes.
Regarding the revision process, it was resolved that learning outcomes must adhere to Bloom's Taxonomy, workload distributions must align with ECTS credits, and the "All" option in the program outcomes matrices should be left blank. Lastly, course learning outcomes were evaluated to ensure full alignment with the mission and vision of Aksaray University and Eskil Vocational School.
At the end of the meeting, it was concluded that all updates and form submissions must be completed by October 1, 2026.
