Veterinary Practitioner Mahmut İriş was invited to Eskil Vocational School to support the career development of the Veterinary Department’s Veterinary Technician Program students. During the event, Mahmut İriş shared his professional experiences and provided detailed information on clinical veterinary practice, the role and responsibilities of veterinary technicians in clinical settings, professional ethics, the current state of livestock production in Türkiye, and recent developments in the sector.
Emphasizing the importance of education in preparing students for professional life, İriş presented real-life examples of situations that may be encountered in the clinical field. He highlighted the critical duties undertaken by veterinary technicians, the necessity of teamwork, and the professional responsibilities within the veterinary health sector.
Throughout the program, students had the opportunity to ask questions about professional growth and the future of the field. Mahmut İriş answered each question thoroughly and offered valuable advice to guide students in their career planning.
At the end of the event, the Head of the Veterinary Department, Assoc. Prof. Erinç Gümüş, presented Mahmut İriş with a certificate of appreciation for his contributions.
