Information on the Department

As of the 2016-2017 academic year, the Department of Veterinary Science within Eskil Vocational School started to admit students. Currently, it has a total of 55 student quotas within the scope of Laboratory and Veterinary Health program.

The objective of Program in Laboratory and Veterinary Assistance Services is to train personnel that assist veterinary physicians in laboratory and clinical practices, safety of animal products, and animal breeding. The program offers education and job opportunities for young population in our country, and contributes to improving the quality of veterinary assistance services. 

Opportunities for Academic Progress

Graduates of Laboratory and Veterinary Assistance Services program can enter External Transfer Exam (DGS). The candites could transfer to related undergraduate programs (Faculty of Veterinary, Department of Animal Science - Faculty of Agriculture and Department of Biology -  Faculty of Science and Letters) with Associate Degree Success Grade determined by taking into consideration the scores obtained from DGS and the academic grade point average by Center for Evaluation, Selection and Placement (ÖSYM). Besides, the graduates can also have the permission to register the similar Associate Degree programs that have no quota problem.
