The Veterinary Department External Stakeholder Meeting was held on February 18, 2026, chaired by the Acting Head of Department, Assoc. Prof. Erinç Gümüş. Along with department academic staff Assoc. Prof. Adil Aksoy and Lect. Dr. Osman Dağar, the meeting was attended by student representatives Fatma Gül Erdoğan and İlayda Sinan; Fatih Eraslan, DVM, from the Eskil District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate; Private Veterinarian Edip Doğanay, and our alumnus Vet. Health Tech. Lokman Mutlu.
During the meeting, the curriculum for the 2026-2027 academic year was reviewed, focusing on suggestions for new courses. Furthermore, potential collaborations with sectoral stakeholders to increase practical training opportunities for students were discussed.
